Our cuisine is a culinary journey across the Indian subcontinent, from the royal kitchens of the North to the coastal cuisines of the South. Every region has whispered its secrets to our kitchen. Each dish is rooted in authenticity, shaped with precision and restraint.

CHAPTER TWO
A Legacy
of Hospitality
Jamavar was conceived by the founding family of The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts – a name long associated with India’s finest traditions of luxury and hospitality.
The first Jamavar opened in 2001 at The Leela Palace Bengaluru, created with a singular vision: to present the depth and diversity of Indian cuisine in a setting defined by elegance, precision and care. It quickly became a destination in its own right, recognised both in India and internationally.
Today, under the guidance of Dinesh and Samyukta Nair, Jamavar continues to evolve as an expression of that original vision – bringing together culinary heritage, refined technique and a philosophy of hospitality that is both instinctive and deeply considered.

A sense of home,
in the heart of Dubai.
Jamavar Dubai opened in 2024, bringing its refined expression of Indian cuisine to the heart of the city’s dynamic dining landscape. Located within Address Residences in Downtown Dubai, the restaurant reflects a commitment to craft, detail, and understated elegance, both in its cuisine and its setting.
Building on the legacy of Jamavar London, awarded a Michelin star in 2025, Jamavar Dubai continued the pursuit of excellence, shaped by the same precision, care, and refined approach to Indian hospitality.
As part of Jamavar’s international presence, alongside London and Doha, Jamavar Dubai carries forward a philosophy rooted in consistency, craftsmanship, and a deep respect for India’s culinary heritage.
