Father’s Day Menus Restaurant Mayfair
This Father’s Day we invite you to evoke memories with our Co-Founder Samyukta Nair as she dedicates a special Father’s Day menu to the two men who are very important in the Jamavar family: her father Dinesh and late grandfather Captain Krishnan Nair, the founder of The Leela Palaces, Hotels & Resorts.
As part of his centenary birth year celebrations, we are launching his biography CAPTURE THE DREAM: The Many Lives of Captain C.P. Krishnan Nair by Bachi Karkaria alongside a special Father’s Day Tasting Menu, which is an homage to The Captain and cherished nostalgic moments and meals spent in the Nair household.
KEEPING IT IN THE FAMILY: FATHER’S DAY AT JAMAVAR
Served from the 17th -19th June, our four course -tasting menu crafted by Executive Chef Surender Mohan starts with Scallop Moilee – so loved by Dinesh that he would order three at a time for everyone to share!
Other much-loved dishes include Mushroom Galouti, Achari Murgh Tikka and Leela’s Lobster Neeruli – a recipe perfected by Samyukta’s grandmother Leela, and one that her grandparents indulged in most together. To finish will be the family’s most loved dessert, Chocolate Coffee Delice served with guanaja, a sesame seed crisp and cardamom ice cream.
