At Jamavar London, the menu presents a considered expression of pan-Indian dining at one of Mayfair’s most refined Indian fine dining restaurants.
Prepared using the finest seasonal British produce and authentic Indian techniques, the menu balances signature classics with refined contemporary dishes, offering a dining experience that is both rooted in tradition and distinctly modern.
The Rooms
Jamavar London unfolds across two floors, comprising The Dining Room and The Game Room. Both spaces combine subtle colonial influences with the intricate patterns of Indian Jamavar shawls.
The ground-floor Dining Room features rainforest and Emperador marble, dark timber panelling, and gilded lincrusta wallcoverings, complemented by brass accents, hand-cut marquetry, and a sculptural bar inspired by Indian print blocks. The space is further enriched by works from Indian contemporary artist Jayasri Burman, adding depth and colour to the setting.
Below, The Game Room offers a more intimate setting, with navy leather upholstery, silvered oak detailing, and marble flooring, drawing inspiration from India’s ancient games through bespoke Chaturanga-style tables, artwork referencing Ganjifa playing cards, and a gilded Paschisi mirror.
Private Dining & Events
The Sapphire Room, located at the end of the ground floor Dining Room, is an intimate conservatory for up to eight guests, featuring rich blue interiors inspired by India’s natural indigo dyes, and views over a planted botanical garden.
For larger gatherings, The Game Room accommodates up to 38 guests in a semi-private setting, complete with its own mirror-embellished bar.
Whether marking a special occasion or hosting an elegant gathering, guests can enjoy a tailored dining experience centred on Jamavar’s pan-Indian cuisine, with bespoke menus and considered wine pairings.
